Quick Start Guide:

  1. Select Function: Turn the function selector knob to choose your cooking mode (baking, roasting, grilling, etc.).
  2. Set Temperature: Turn the temperature knob to set the desired temperature (usually 150-250°C for most dishes).
  3. Preheat: Wait for the oven to preheat (the heating indicator light will turn off when ready). This usually takes 5-10 minutes.
  4. Place Food: Place your food on the oven rack or baking tray and insert into the oven. Use the middle shelf for most baking.
  5. Turn Off: After cooking, turn both knobs to the OFF position. Remove food promptly - don't leave it in the oven for more than 1 hour.

Cooking Modes:

  • Conventional Baking: Top and bottom heat - For cakes, pastries, and general baking
  • Grilling: Top heat only - For browning, toasting, and grilling meat
  • Fan Baking: Circulated hot air - For even cooking and faster baking times
  • Roasting: For roasting meat and poultry - Provides even heat distribution

Temperature Guide:

  • 150-180°C: Slow cooking, keeping warm, or delicate items
  • 180-200°C: Most baking (cakes, cookies, bread)
  • 200-220°C: Roasting meat, poultry, and vegetables
  • 220-250°C: High-temperature roasting, pizza, and quick browning

Important Safety Notes:

  • Hot surfaces warning - The oven and its door become very hot during use. Use oven mitts when opening the door or handling cookware.
  • Never leave food unattended - Especially when grilling or using high temperatures. Check food regularly.
  • Don't leave food in oven - Remove food within 1 hour after cooking to prevent food poisoning.
  • Use appropriate cookware - Use oven-safe dishes and baking trays. Never place closed tins or glass jars in the oven.
  • Turn off after use - Always ensure both knobs are turned to OFF position after cooking.
  • Keep children away - The oven and its accessible parts become hot during use. Keep children under 8 years away unless supervised.

Troubleshooting:

Steam coming from oven: Normal during operation - steam is released during cooking. This is not a fault.
Metallic sounds: Normal operation - metal parts expand and contract when heating/cooling. This is not a fault.
Oven not working: Check that the oven is plugged in and the circuit breaker hasn't tripped. Make sure both knobs are properly set.
Oven light not working: The light bulb may need replacement. Check power supply first. Contact us if problem persists.
Oven not heating: Check that function and temperature are properly set. If using timer, make sure it's correctly programmed. Check power supply.

Cleaning Tips:

  • Always wait for the oven to cool down completely before cleaning
  • Use warm water and liquid detergent with a soft cloth or sponge for regular cleaning
  • For stubborn stains, use an oven cleaner suitable for built-in ovens
  • Clean spills immediately after the oven cools down to prevent them from hardening
  • Never use harsh abrasive cleaners or sharp metal scrapers on the oven door glass
  • Don't place baking trays directly on the oven bottom - use the oven racks
